Latest updates on Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian’s lawsuit against Ray J. Justin.
The patriarch filed a new declaration, accusing his daughter’s ex-husband of “publicly terrorizing” Kardashian by “continuing to talk about her and lie about her in the press for the past 20 years to maintain his own presence,” TMZ reported on Monday.
Jenner, 70, slammed the singer’s latest “outrageously false” claim on an X livestream in September 2025 that federal agents are investigating the mother-daughter duo for “doing worse than Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.”
The songwriter also argued five months ago in the documentary TMZ Presents: United States v. Sean Combs: Inside the Diddy Trial that “extortion charges against the Kardashians would be appropriate.”
Jenner labeled these claims “outrageous lies” and pointed to the “wave of attention” Ray J’s comments brought and the “significant emotional distress” they caused the Skims creator.
“Family is most important to me,” Jenner wrote in an emotional declaration. “It’s so hard to see my daughter go through the stress and hopelessness caused by (Ray J) and his never-ending harassment.”
She continued, “I made this decision because I couldn’t stand to see my daughter cry again over[Ray J’s]campaign of harassment against her and her family and the lies he painted about us.”
Jenner said she had never sued anyone for defamation in her decades-long career, but found Ray J’s comments too “inexcusable and extremely painful” to ignore.
In addition to the impact on Kardashian, 45, Jenner wrote that she was “deeply angered, insulted and upset by the accusations,” citing the potential negative impact on her business.
Ray J’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The Grammy nominee, 45, dated Kardashian on and off from 2003 to 2006, and the infamous sex tape was leaked a year after their breakup.
Ray J sued Kardashian and Jenner in November 2025, claiming they were the ones who released the tape, and the claim first made headlines in 2022.
His lawsuit, which the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars called a “disjointed, rambling diversion,” comes on the heels of Kardashian and Jenner suing Ray J in October 2025 over claims of extortion.
According to TMZ, Kardashian filed her own tax return last week, expressing “fear” and “concern” that Ray J’s allegations could “put in jeopardy” her aspirations to become a lawyer.
She also opened up about the “tough conversations” she had with her four children with ex-husband Kanye West (North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Palm, 6) over the “One Wish” singer’s “repeated lies.”
