Brooks Brothers CEO Ken Ohashi and creative director Michael Bastian kicked off the evening with welcome remarks. “Brooks Brothers has long defined what success looks like in America, and this room represents what success looks like in America,” he said.
Gold House CEO Bing Cheng wore a sweatshirt from the Brooks Brothers and Gold House capsule collection. “This is a very worrying time for many people, and it will be even more painful when people realize that AI jobs are not coming back,” Chen said. “So our message in the Year of the Fire Horse is to push forward to build what you know deeply, like neighbors you trust and an industry you love. It’s the toughest time, but no pressure, no diamonds. This is truly the best time to build.”
