King Charles, who just launched his first Apple playlist earlier this year, is now spearheading Amazon Prime Video’s new Documents feature.
Due for worldwide release in early 2026, Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision will chronicle the king’s “philosophy of harmony and lifelong commitment to the environment as a whole.”
For those who don’t know, harmony is a principle developed by King Charles that encourages humans to think of themselves as “part of nature, not separate from it.” He outlined his vision in his 2010 book, Harmony: A New Way to See Our World, and hosted the Harmony Summit at his private home in Highgrove earlier this year.
“Nature is our support. We are part of nature,” said King Charles. “So what we do to her is what we do to ourselves. I’ve spent most of my life encouraging and encouraging ways in which we can work with nature rather than against it. In other words, restore balance to our planet under such stress.”
Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, directed by Nicholas Braun, explores the origins, evolution and scientific basis of a philosophy brought to life through the mission of the King’s Foundation, a charity founded in 1990 when Charles was Prince Charles.
“We hope this film shows just some of the remarkable work being done around the world to put harmony into practice, from the forests of Guyana to the sustainable communities of India, and closer to home through the work of my King’s Foundation at Dumfries House and Highgrove,” the royal added.
“There has never been a more important time for the world to make a concerted effort to protect and prioritize our planet and restore our relationship with it. So I sincerely hope that this film will inspire new audiences to learn about the philosophy of harmony and perhaps inspire the same determination that this film has given me, to help build a more sustainable future.”
News that the UK Head of State was working on a document feature with Amazon was first announced earlier this year. Although exact details were not disclosed at the time, the partnership with the major US streamer was seen as a departure for the royal family, who have typically worked with British networks to appear on screen. That said, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have a major multi-million dollar deal with Netflix.
“We are honored to bring His Majesty’s pioneering environmental philosophy to Prime Video viewers around the world through this groundbreaking documentary,” said Courtenay Valenti, head of film at Amazon MGM Studios. “Finding Harmony represents the culmination of the King’s lifelong dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Championed by Amazon MGM Studios Head of Documentary Brianna Orr, we believe this collaboration will not only showcase the King’s remarkable vision, but will also inspire audiences around the world to consider their relationship with the natural world.”
“Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision” is produced by Passion Planet in association with Amazon MGM Studios’ King’s Foundation. It will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world in early 2026.
