Kim Zolciak’s estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, has once again requested sole custody of the couple’s four minor children, citing the reality star’s “mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities.”
Biermann, 40, asked a judge to modify the ex-couple’s joint custody arrangement, according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Monday.
According to the outlet, the retired NFL linebacker claimed that the 47-year-old from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” had been out of the country for several weeks.
He also reportedly claimed that “the facts surrounding[Zolciak’s]misparenting of the children, lack thereof, and blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities are virtually unbelievable to anyone unaware of the circumstances.”
Biermann also accused her ex-girlfriend of committing “fraud and deceit” in agreeing to their current joint custody agreement, and claimed that the Bravo star took advantage of parenting time only once, from February 26 to March 29.
According to Biermann’s complaint, Zolciak was watching over the children on March 9 when one of the children was bitten by the dog.
According to TMZ, the former NFL star claimed that Zolciak was not following the agreed upon treatment terms.
Representatives for Zolciak did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and Biermann first filed for divorce in May 2023 after 11 years of marriage.
The two sides temporarily reached a settlement, but Mr. Biermann refiled in August 2023.
The exes have four children: son Kroy Jr., 14, son Kash, 13, and 12-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Biermann also adopted Zolciak’s two daughters, Brielle, 29, and Ariana, 24, before they married in 2011.
Zolciak and Biermann’s messy separation has been going on for more than two years, and the pair signed a temporary custody agreement early last month amid an ongoing custody battle.
Bierman previously filed for sole custody of the children in August 2025. The filing accused her ex-husband of subjecting her children to “emotional and psychological abuse” and reportedly claimed that Zolciak repeatedly left them alone without “appropriate parental guidance.”
The estranged couple continued to live together in a mansion in Georgia after their separation in 2023, but in April 2025 they were forced to leave the seized property by federal marshals.
Meanwhile, Zolciak has reportedly broken up with Atlanta-based entrepreneur Kyle Mowitz.
Shortly after the two became romantically involved for the first time in March 2025, Biermann reportedly contacted Mowitz’s estranged wife, Gillian Greene, warning her that Zolciak would be “financially…siphoning money” from Mowitz.
