Regarding her budding acting career, she said, “I don’t think there are really any limits in life. I’ve never felt like there were any limits. I’ve never felt like I have to be confined to this box or that I can’t do what I want to do or at least try. So there’s no limits, no barriers. Whatever you want to do, try it. What can happen? And just do it. Just start. Just do it.”
Before the screening, Murphy praised the all-star cast. “For the past two decades, the women in this cast have been flying through buildings with one shot,” said The Hollywood Reporter. “These women are icons in their own right. They have changed cultures, done good deeds, done noble deeds, often fought the bad guys and won. For me, the desire for the show is meaningful on and off the screen. These women and the characters they play in the show are here to inspire, intrigue and uplift in the midst of some very dark and troubling situations.” times. ”
