Kim Kardashian brought runway history to Easter brunch.
The “All’s Fair” star, 45, wore a $9,850 vintage Roberto Cavalli dress to the Kardashian-Jenner family’s Easter celebration in Palm Springs on Sunday. This was the same dress Cindy Crawford wore to close the designer’s fall/winter 2002 runway show.
The ivory silk floor-length dress was adorned with swirling crystals from the waist to the floor-sweeping train, embellished with dark brushstrokes.
Stylist Jahleel Weaver layered the gown under a fuchsia ombre fur stole with a chiffon tie at the back.
Kardashian bought the dress, with the tag still attached, from vintage dealer Opulent Addict and posted a photo of the dress on Instagram with the caption, “Vintage Cavalli-inspired Easter.”
Frequently talked about for vintage fashion moments, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star’s archive selections can be found within the brand, from the iconic Marilyn Monroe dress she borrowed for the 2022 Met Gala to the ’90s Versace number she wore at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding last year. She recently auctioned off some of the Y2K-era John Galliano and Dior she wore to Old’s Fair to raise money for legal aid, and both outfits sold for about $250,000.
The Kardashians weren’t the only family members to reach into their fashion archives this Easter. Her mother Kris Jenner, 70, wore a black bodysuit with a pink tiered 1995 Chanel ball skirt, while her sister Kylie Jenner wore a sheer floral chiffon top from John Galliano’s Dior Spring 2002 collection with white button-fly jeans.
Khloe Kardashian looked on-trend in a polka-dot Mars the Label Sandra Capri jumpsuit ($130), while family cousin Cissi Bussey kept it classic in a floor-length black dress with a gold coin belt.
The entire clan went all out for the weekend getaway and activities began on Saturday. A sumptuous brunch filled two tables, and the kids enjoyed an overstuffed Easter basket, an egg hunt, cookie decorating, and a cake station.
