Kim Kardashian revealed that the extreme stress of studying for the bar exam became even more scary after doctors discovered she had a brain aneurysm.
The SKIMS founder spoke about her health concerns after undergoing a full body scan during Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
“They called me today and said, ‘Everything looks fine, but you have an aneurysm in your brain,'” she told her sister Kourtney Kardashian. “They’re like, ‘It’s been there for years.’
Kim, 45, immediately sought help from neurosurgeon Dr. Keith Black.
“I sent him a photo of the scan, and he said, ‘I want you to come in for all this imaging,'” she continued. “So I said, ‘Can we wait? What’s going to explode?’ And they say, ‘It’s just stress.’ ”
Kim admitted that the demands of studying law were mentally draining.
“I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m going to take the bar exam and study 10 hours a day.'” The stress has become next level to hives, Kim said.
News of Kim’s aneurysm diagnosis first broke when the preview for season 7 of the hit reality show aired in October.
Kim was seen confiding in the founder of Poosh after learning of the scary medical news.
Courtney reacted in shock and put her hand on her chest before the scene was cut.
Kim appeared on “Good Morning America” last month to promote her new series “All’s Fair” and provide an update on her health.
“I ended up having to go to Cedars-Sinai (Medical Center) with the whole team and have a bunch of other brain scans,” she said.
Kim teased that “everything is going well” for her, and said the Prenuvo scan was “just a good way to make sure I’m checking everything all the time.”
“Health is an asset. You need to be careful in everything you do,” she said.
Earlier this week, Kim posted a long Instagram video depicting her grueling preparation for the bar exam, which she ultimately failed.
“I’ve been sharing much of this journey with you all, but this summer I’ve documented some of the last two weeks of study, the ups, the downs, and everything in between,” she captioned the post.
“On November 7th, I found out I hadn’t crossed the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end.”
“This dream means too much to me to run away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep expressing myself until I get there,” the post concluded.
Kim is scheduled to be able to retake the California bar exam in February 2026.
