Yaya Dacosta, Melanie Liburd, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Stephanie Suganami joined La La Anthony in the cast of “Group Chat,” a Hulu pilot produced by Kim Kardashian and Kenya Barris, based on Anthony’s 2014 book, “The Love Playbook: Low for Love and Happiness.”
“Group Chat” was first announced during development on Hulu in August 2024, along with news that Kardashian had signed a first look deal on his 20th TV, and the growth of the Disney project. Kardashian is not a main cast member of “Group Chat”, but he will serve as a narrator and guest star.
According to the official logline of “Group Chat”, the series is “a satirical comedy about a successful woman in her 40s who conquered LA, and at first glance it seems to have everything. But behind the perfect life of the painting is a group chat that tells the real story.
