What you need to know
Khloe Kardashian is undergoing a transformation for this season of Khloe in Wonderland, which starts on Wednesday, November 12th.
Last season, many of Kardashian’s guests were experts in topics that interested her, such as wellness and personal development. This time, she’s getting more personal.
“What I’m definitely doing more of this season is doing more solo episodes,” she tells PEOPLE. “They worked really well. People submitted topics they wanted me to talk about. People also wanted it to be more conversational, and before it was mostly experts speaking. So a lot of the guests this time are family members and people in my inner circle. They’re still really engaging, but they’re people who feel comfortable engaging in conversations with me.”
She added, “Or someone who’s not afraid to call me out on something! So it’s going to be a little looser, and not too flashy, if that makes sense.”

In Season 1, the reality star got expert insights from some of the leading experts in the field. “I really love going down the rabbit hole of different, very random things,” she says of past guests. “I mean, I never focused on one category. It was whatever interested me. Personally, I loved talking to self-help experts, but the audience wasn’t that engaging.”
Kardashian, 41, knows her viewers want more of her. That’s because many viewers have grown up watching her on TV for a long time.
“It’s been almost 20 years, if you can believe it,” she says of her family’s TV appearances, which began on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” She currently appears on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and says people feel like they know her.
“I think I have a very approachable personality. I’m very friendly and I love interacting with people,” she says. “So that’s what I do. If someone comes up to me and talks to me as if they know me, I talk to them right away.”
She added, “As long as we’re all nice and kind! If you come to me and you’re an asshole, I’ll come right back to you too. So I kind of relate to your energy. But I’m actually very honored, most of the people I meet are very nice and they’ve followed me on my journey. I usually deal with very polite, kind, respectful people.”
She says working on Chloe in Wonderland was one of the most fun things she’s ever done.

“I love that. And I love that you don’t have to stick to one format like you do with talk shows or TV shows. With a podcast, you’re like, Look, I didn’t like that energy or that flow. Let’s try it this way. And it’s so easy to adapt.”
Additionally, her entire commute is 7 minutes.
“I have a studio down the street from my house,” she says with a laugh, noting that her family lives in an enclave in Southern California. “We are gradually taking over Calabasas. They will soon be calling it Calabasas with a ‘K’.”
Produced by Dear Media, Khloé in Wonder Land returns on November 12th and is available on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts.
