rundown
Kendall Jenner has settled into her 30s and has her long-term future in mind, but she’s also living in the moment. In an interview with Vogue France, the model spoke candidly about her desire to start a family one day, but not immediately. The magazine asked her if she’s thinking more about having children now that she’s 30.
She replied, “Yes, of course. I would like to keep them, but not right now. I would like to be able to spend more time with them, but for now I am still too busy.”
Later in the discussion, she talked about things she wished she had done differently in her 20s and how she applies those lessons to her 30s.
The media asked them what they wanted to accomplish this year.
Jenner said, “The most important thing is to stay true to yourself and continue to have fun. It might sound like a cliche answer, but it’s really important to me. I think most women, most people understand this. When you’re in your 20s, you don’t necessarily know who you are or what you want, so things can get difficult quickly. A lot of older people tell me that they wish they had been more relaxed in their 20s, not taken things so seriously, and enjoyed life more. When I was 20, I was too stressed out, and now I want to focus on myself.
This isn’t the first time this year that the model has spoken out about being childless and enjoying the new decade. She told Owen Seale on In Your Dreams last month how much she loves being alone and revealed that she also travels on her own.
“I’m really enjoying it,” she added. “So, of course I want a husband, but that’s why I don’t have kids. I just feel like I like my freedom. I like this independence that I have now and I can do my own thing.”
