Kendall Jenner opted for a cool summer look for this year’s Coachella festival. The model was spotted with sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner on Friday. Jenner talked about her approach to festival style in 2024.
Kendall Jenner put a fresh spin on festival fashion during the first weekend of Coachella. The model was photographed on Friday wearing a cropped white tank top and matching white shorts cinched with a black belt. She paired the look with a backwards baseball cap, black purse, sunglasses, and boots.
She was seen on Kylie Jenner’s Instagram Story celebrating her participation in the festival. They were joined by older sister Kourtney Kardashian.
In April 2024, Jenner spoke to People magazine about her approach to fashion that year. Her goal is to “feel comfortable and enjoy the music I love,” she said, adding, “I think Coachella itself is evolving a lot, and I think I’m evolving as well.”
She told the magazine that the lineup of performers inspires her wardrobe and she has no regrets about past fashions. “I loved all the pieces when I wore them, but I would never wear them today because they don’t reflect my current style,” she said. “I feel like each look served what I was trying to achieve at the time.”
Jenner recently spoke to Elle in March about how the fashion industry has changed in the 10 years she’s been modeling. “Well, it’s been 11 years, so it’s necessarily different, right?” she said. “Everything changes so quickly. It’s fun, but it can be difficult at times. I think we all like and dislike things in different ways. We have to be willing to shape and change with it, but at the same time know where we fit. I think that might be another strength of mine.”
“We see beautiful women on magazine covers, runways, and campaigns, but we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes or what’s going on with them personally. We see beautiful covers, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re beautiful on the inside. I don’t mean they’re not beautiful people. I’ve learned to be more empathetic and treat people kinder, realizing that everyone has their own story and there’s always a behind-the-scenes story.”
