Kelsey Grammer’s daughter Greer Grammer has clapped back at claims that she is Nepo’s baby, revealing that she and the singer have been estranged for more than a decade.
During a recent appearance on the Pretty Basics podcast, the former beauty queen claimed that although the Cheers alum was in her life when she was young, she didn’t meet her father from the age of 5 to 16.
“The biggest misconception about me, and I don’t know how to talk about it other than venting my trauma, is that I didn’t know my father until I was 16,” she said on the podcast.
“My father left home when I was four years old, and I didn’t see him again until I was 16,” Greer explained.
“To be exact, I saw him once when I was 11 years old and ran away. I ran away because it was a big hit.”
Greer, 33, said she has “very specific memories” of Kelsey, 70, from her youth.
“I remember going to ‘Frasier’ at one point and wondering why the girls in the back were redoing the scene over and over again. I think my mom took me out of the audience afterwards because my voice was too loud,” she recalled.
“I remember going to my dad’s party. I remember him going to see my kindergarten play, ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ and he remembers that too, because we talked about it,” Greer said.
“But they’re all very specific. You know when you’re thinking about it, but then you don’t.”
The former “Awkward” actress said she reunited with Kelsey when she was 16 years old during a chance encounter in the Christmas tree lot.
“He came up to me and said, ‘Are you Greer?’” And I said, “Yes, I am.” And he said, “I-” And I thought, ‘I know who you are,’ of course,” she recalled.
Since reuniting, Kelsey and Grier have made several public appearances together. Greer also appeared on several seasons and the reboot of her father’s hit show “Frasier.”
Despite reuniting, Greer revealed that she is undergoing therapy to resolve issues with her father.
“My therapist asked me, ‘Do you remember when you found out your dad was no longer a part of your life? Did your mom ever sit you down?'” Greer recalled.
“And I thought, ‘I don’t think so.’ She said, ‘You should ask her about that.’ I was like, “No.” I think my brain is probably blocking it for some reason. ”

Kelsey welcomed Grier in February 1992 along with ex Barry Buckner.
The “Girlfriends” producer has also welcomed seven children with three different women.
