Kelly Osbourne has hit back at body-shaming trolls as she goes through the “toughest time” of her life following the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne.
“There’s a special kind of cruelty when it comes to hurting someone who is clearly going through something,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories after attending the 2026 BRIT Awards with her mother Sharon Osbourne.
“They kick me when I’m down, doubt my pain, spread gossip about my struggles, and turn their backs on me when I need support and love the most,” the former reality star added.
“None of this demonstrates strength, but only reveals a serious lack of compassion and decency.”
“I’m going through the most difficult time of my life right now,” Kelly, 41, said. “I don’t even need to protect myself.”
“But I will not sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in that way!” she concluded.
The former “Fashion Police” host’s statement came hours after he shocked fans with his skinny appearance at Saturday’s Blitz.
Kelly wore a body-hugging, floor-length black gown as she posed alongside the former America’s Got Talent judge, 73, on the red carpet.
Less than a week before her appearance at the BRIT Awards, Kelly accused critics of attacking her skinny appearance.
“Literally, I can’t believe some humans can really be this disgusting!” she posted on her Instagram Story on February 23rd, with a screenshot of a negative comment from an online hater.
“No one deserves to be subjected to this kind of abuse!” Kelly added.
Last December, Kelly revealed that her dramatic weight loss was due to mourning the death of her father, Ozzy, who died of a heart attack in July 2025 at the age of 76.
“To those who continue to think they’re being funny and mean by posting comments like, ‘Are you sick?’ or ‘Quit Ozempic,’ or ‘You look weird,'” she said at the time.
“My father just passed away and I’m doing the best I can. All I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of life rather than the sad side of life,” Kelly added.
“So, people like that, please stop,” she added.
Sharon also defended her daughter’s weight loss, saying Kelly “can’t eat right now” due to the loss of her father.
“How many times have we been wrong about someone because of our own perceptions?” the former X Factor host said.
“But you and I don’t agree that you would waste a second of your life writing something about them,” he added.
“You go on the site and take the time to write. It takes a lot of effort.”
