This may be the end of Kelly Clarkson’s daytime talk show of the same name.
Multiple sources have told Page Six that the singer-turned-TV host will be leaving the show at the end of this season.
One source said it was “certain” that she would leave the facility during the day, while another said it was “likely not to last.”
“[Her show]has a lot of work to do, and looking at the landscape of daytime television, it’s no longer sustainable,” they said.
Last year, there were rumors that former “Today” anchor Hoda Kotb was on the verge of replacing Clarkson when he abruptly stepped down as host of NBC’s marquee morning show. There have also been rumors that the singer wants to leave the role, with NBC officials telling the Post that a long list of potential candidates to replace her has been floated, including Kotub.
But another source said nothing has been decided either way. They acknowledged there continues to be talk around the halls of 30 Rock about its future, but said “people are jumping the gun.” “Nothing has been decided yet. The season is still long,” he added.
Sources have previously said that Page Six’s Clarkson is considering leaving the talk show when his contract expires this year. Clarkson was absent from the show at the time, but it was later revealed that she was there to care for her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, who passed away in August 2025 at the age of 48 after battling melanoma.
She and Blackstock, who divorced in 2023 after nearly 10 years of marriage, share two children, River Rose, 11, and Remington “Remy” Alexander, 9.
Clarkson has focused on raising her children and helping her children cope after her father’s death.
Clarkson took part in a fan Q&A session earlier this year and revealed that her favorite time of the day is bedtime, when she can snuggle up with her kids. “We’ve had a lot going on in our family lately, so we’ve been having our kids sleep with us quite a bit. So the two dogs, the kids, and me. That’s a lot,” she said.
“But it was a really special time. The conversations we had then were so cute, so that’s probably my favorite part,” she added.
Representatives for Clarkson and her talk show had no comment.
