Keith Urban returned to stage Thursday night for his first show since news broke the split from his wife, Nicole Kidman.
On October 2nd, the 57-year-old country superstar played at Giants Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. After landing through a private jet earlier in the day.
On the show, which was part of Urban’s High and Alive World Tour, the guitarist included photos of Kidman and his daughter in the slideshow shown on the screen, singing the 2024 song “Heart like A Hometown.” Before this song, Urban was able to share a story about his parents, allowing him to drop out of school to pursue music full-time.

Urban has been on tour this summer for his High and Alive World Tour, with more shows scheduled until mid-October. He is also holding concerts scheduled for the Bahamas and the UK in March 2026.
The Carrie Underwood duet “The Fighter,” which was off Urban’s ninth studio album Ripcord, was inspired by the early days of Urban’s romance with Kidman.
Since its release in 2016, Urban Ad-Libs has commented on playing the songs live. He recently told utility player Maggiebaugh that he would “be a guitar player,” but Underwood said, “Carrie Underwood, I’m going to be your fighter!”
Kidman filed for divorce in Nashville on Tuesday, September 30th. In Nashville, couples have been living in the country since 2007, according to court documents obtained by people. She listed their separation date as the date of submission, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the division.
The pair got married in June 2006 after meeting at the Los Angeles Gala the previous year and shared their daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
The filing comes after summer as Kidman was filming a practical Magic 2 in London and Urban was traveling on his tour.
Sources previously told people that Kidman “didn’t want this,” and “fighted to save the marriage.”
An Urban Circle source told people that the country star has recently “explained a few things.”
“He’s been making suspicious choices for a while, but this has not only made them fall apart,” Kidman source added.
The couple’s separation shocked many fans, but people changed their relationship after Urban bought a new home.
“Their lives were moving in many different directions. He quietly set up his place and it felt like the text was on the wall,” explained the source who described the city’s departure.
The insider said, “It was no secret of their circle that Keith and Nicole lived separately for a while. People near Keith felt that division was a bit inevitable.”
