Keith Urban is reportedly “numb” after his daughter Sunday didn’t mention him in a new interview while going on a rant about her mother Nicole Kidman.
“He’s trying to put on a brave face,” a source told Australian outlet New Idea on Monday, claiming the omission left the country singer feeling “like he didn’t exist.”
A source said, “He knows he has to be patient, but he is troubled that this disrespect has now been made so clear in public.”
Representatives for Mr. Urban and Mr. Kidman did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
In a Sunday interview with Elle Australia published earlier this month, the 17-year-old praised Kidman as her “biggest inspiration in life” and “an important part of everything” she does.
She went on to share the “biggest advice in the industry” she received from her Oscar-winning parents.
“I’m always on time,” Sunday said. “It shows you’re ready and grateful to be there.”
Meanwhile, Urban was mentioned as Sunday’s father at the beginning of the cover story, but was never mentioned again.
The Grammy winner and Kidman, who are also parents to 15-year-old daughter Faith, divorced last year after 19 years of marriage.
The ex-girlfriends’ divorce was finalized in January, allowing Urban to spend “every other weekend” with his daughters.
Kidman will have custody of Sunday and Faith for the remainder of the term.
The “Big Little Lies” star spoke about their breakup for the first time in Variety magazine last week.
“I’m always going to move towards good things,” Kidman told the magazine. “What I’m thankful for is my family and letting them be and moving on, that’s all.
“Out of respect, I won’t talk about anything else,” she continued. “I continue to think, ‘We’re a family.’ That’s what we’ll continue to do.”
