Kayla Nicole chooses “joy” in the news that her famous ex-boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is working at Taylor Swift.
The media personality joined her Instagram Story on Tuesday and redistributed the video of actress Tracee Ellis Ross.
“I work for it,” the “dark” star said in the clip. “I think joy is different from happiness. Happiness feels that you can get at Seven-Eleven. And joy is what you earn, work and practice.”
“I feel like Joy has legs. I feel like joy has legs. I feel like joy has roots. I feel like joy creates space and gives us more room for a good day,” continued Ross, 52.
“I think joy is an attitude. I think joy is a perspective. I think joy is a lens where I live and see life.”
Nicole, 33, reads the Kay Warren Self Help Book and read “The Choices Many Years ago in the book “Joy: Happiness Not Not Not of.”
“I’m eager to do,” she continued. “It’s very good.”
The inspirational reflections of influencers came just hours after 35-year-old Kelce and Swift announced they were involved in the next level after a two-year date.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” they captioned a series of engagement photos shared via Instagram.
The romantic snaps showed Kansas City Chiefs Star and Grammy Award winners are loved in the garden.
Kelse and Swift began dating a year after they officially pulled the plug about their relationship with Nicole.
NFL Star and “I Am Athlete Daily” host on and off from 2017 to 2022.
In the past, Nicole was openly about her broken heart from past relationships. However, she avoided mentioning Kelse by name.
On her “The Pre-Game” podcast in April, she refueled rumors that the athlete had cheated on her while discussing the “broken heartbreak” and “anxiety” in the aftermath of an affair with an unknown partner.
The following month, she called out critics, telling her to “get over” Kelse and said sharing her experiences on the “Second Wind Podcast” was her “superpower.”
Nicole also hinted at a “pre-game” podcast in May where the Super Bowl Champion romance made her “looking good.”
She didn’t mention the A-list duo by name, but she shared that it should be “no problem” to admit their original “a new girl might be popping out, s-t, it could be really hot.”
“You love, you’ve been on a date for a long time, and you’re so sad, you’re so sad, you’re so bad,” the sports journalist joked.
In the same episode, she became openly about going through “life-changing” therapy after dealing with a broken heart from a past relationship.
