Katy Perry is ushering in a new style era.
The singer took a big step in their relationship this week when she accompanied her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Although Perry is known for her showgirl sensibilities, she kept a low profile at political events to support her mistress.
On Monday, Perry opted for a head-to-toe Jacquemus outfit that included a knit skirt ($990) and cardigan set ($950), large silver and gold earrings, and the brand’s sunglasses.
The next day, she put a twist on business attire, rocking a navy cut-out Mugler jacket ($2,450) and matching pants ($1,150).
The singer is best known for her quirky style, including swinging spiked chainmail minidresses, high-slit gowns covered in LED lights, and patchwork denim looks, but it looks like she’s toning things down as a plus-one.
The two have been dating since shortly after breaking up with fiancé Orlando Bloom last year. The two began dating on Instagram in the fall, and made their first public appearance together on her 41st birthday in October.
Page Six exclusively reported that the couple is truly into each other and are very happy about the attention they are getting for their relationship.
Will we see more First Lady fashion in the future?
