She is living the teenage dream.
Katy Perry commented on her relationship status at a concert in London on Monday, days after packing on the PDA with Justin Trudeau on a yacht.
When the singer invited a fan named Darren to the stage at the O2 Arena, he proposed to her with a handwritten sign, but she cheekily turned him down, as seen in the fan’s TikTok footage.
“Not today,” the Grammy nominee, 40, replied. “You know, you should have asked me about 48 hours ago.”
She also joked that Darren was “interesting to hear that[she’s]single.”
Meanwhile, Perry’s new girlfriend was spending Thanksgiving in Canada with his estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, according to Perry’s Instagram Story upload.
The 50-year-old, who split from Justin in 2023, posted a smiling snap of her ex-partner and his family making a plate.
She shared close-up shots of their meals and tablescapes with her followers.
“I’m lucky to be alive, to be loved, and most importantly to be with my family for Thanksgiving,” Sophie exclaimed. “I send light to you.”
The retired TV host’s cryptic post went viral after a lovey-dovey photo of Justin and Perrie went viral.
“The deepest lesson of love…is to remain open in the face of impermanence,” she wrote on Instagram Monday. “To honor what has come before and to let it go is also to keep it within us, believing that no amount of loss can erase it.”
Perrie and Justin, 53, first sparked romance rumors in July when they were spotted eating snacks and taking a walk.
The Daily Mail reported on Monday that the politician is “relentlessly” pursuing the “frightened” songwriter to this day.
“Justin continued to be present, continued to show up, and wanted to be with her,” a source told the outlet.
Perry recently split from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom he shares five-year-old daughter Daisy.
Justin married Sophie in May 2005 and they have a son, Xavier, 17, and a daughter, Ella-Grace, 16, but they have announced they are divorcing.
