Katy Perry looked back at the “wins” and “loss” of past “roller coaster” years after the bomb split from his fiancee, Orlando Bloom.
The “Teenage Dream” diva joined Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate the one anniversary of her “143” studio album release and a special message from her Katycats.
“KC knows that I’m not for anniversary posts,” she writes. “I tend to be mostly futurist, but it’s negligence for me to not acknowledge the incredible impact I had on me last year.”
“The record is a snapshot of an artist trying to tell a story about where he is or was now, and I hope someone will hear himself in some of the messages,” the 40-year-old said the album is a love story for her fans.
“Our cats (and rats) have come through the roller coaster, but even when the ride takes us, we were together,” she continued.
“We are very proud of our community and we are growing to grow. History is important, and we learn from history and remember what to do when we look back. We celebrate victory, look back on losses. It’s all worth it.”
The “ET” singer also shared that she is being pushed to acknowledge whether she loves herself “last time,” saying, “I get the chance to answer that question again every day. The answer today is yes.”
“I’m proud of where and how I landed at this moment. I’m proud of myself, I’m proud of my fans, I’m proud of my continued shaking,” she added.
“Through the year in the spotlight, I’ve been loved, tested and tried. That’s the journey. I’m blessed to know that each coin always has two aspects.
The “unconditional” singer said he allows “whatever comes next” to “unfold naturally.”
“There’s no coercion or control. I just trust angels, fans and music and guide them where I’m going,” she writes.
“Know this: my love for you is unconditional and I could not do this without you.”
Perry wrote a special message while continuing his international footing on “The Lifetimes Tour.”
Pop Star’s video game-themed tour began in Mexico City in April, months before his split with 48-year-old Bloom.
News in June that they had “friendly” cancelled engagement together for nearly a decade was broken.
Perry and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star confirmed the rumors the following month via a joint statement to Page 6.
“They continue to be seen together as a family. Their shared priorities, and as always, they raise their daughters with love, stability and mutual respect,” their representative told us, referring to 5-year-old Daisy Dub.
Bloom spoke about the breakup in September, telling Kat that he and Perry have “something other than love” for each other.
