Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were recently spotted making out on the singer’s luxury yacht, confirming their romantic relationship.
In photos published by the Daily Mail on Saturday, the “Firework” singer, 40, can be seen rocking a black one-piece swimsuit on the deck of the Caravelle as she enjoys a passionate kiss with the shirtless Trudeau, who was wearing only jeans on the yacht.
Another snapshot showed the former Canadian prime minister, 53, cradling the hitmaker’s bum on the upper deck of a yacht.
In yet another photo, Perry, 40, appeared to have her arm around Trudeau’s neck as he cupped her cheek.
The steamy photo was reportedly taken off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, in late September by a tourist on a passing boat.
“She parked the boat next to a public whale-watching boat and then the two started making out,” an eyewitness told the Daily Mail.
“I didn’t know who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, but I immediately knew it was Justin Trudeau.”
Representatives for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Perry did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The “I Kissed a Girl” songstress and politician first sparked romance rumors in July when they were spotted on an intimate dinner date in Montreal.
They were also seen enjoying a walk in Mount Royal Park before Trudeau was spotted on Perry’s sold-out “Life Times” tour of Canada.
In August, a source told the Daily Mail that the romance had already hit a setback following heated romance speculation and media attention surrounding the pair’s dinner date.
“She and he are both busy,” a source told the magazine. “They had a lot going on and the novelty wore off.” The source also revealed that the pair had been texting “non-stop” throughout July.
“But there’s nothing negative about it,” they added. “They just don’t have constant contact anymore. Things may change, but for now it’s the way it is. It’s getting colder.”
Perry split from Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom in June, after nearly a decade together. The couple have a daughter, Daisy Dove, 5.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Trudeau separated from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023. The former couple have sons Xavier, 17, and Hadrian, 11, and daughter Ella-Grace, 16.
