She is living in a teenage dream.
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau made their romance public on Saturday, holding hands in Paris to celebrate the pop star’s 41st birthday.
The “Last Friday Night” singer and the former Canadian prime minister were seen walking hand in hand as they left a cabaret show at Crazy Horse, according to a video obtained by TMZ.
As Perry left the venue, paparazzi sang “Happy Birthday” to him, and someone handed him a red rose.
The 13-time Grammy nominee stunned in a skintight red dress, with her black hair slicked back in a low bun.
Prime Minister Trudeau, 53, looked dapper in a gray suit with a black shirt.
The two then piled into a waiting black SUV and drove off.
Their outing comes weeks after Page Six exclusively reported that Trudeau’s new romance was a “midlife crisis” following his divorce from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau.
“Dating Katie might be Justin’s answer to going to Burning Man,” a Canadian social source told Us. “It’s a bit of a midlife crisis.”
Rumors of a romance first surfaced in July when the politician and Mr. Perry were seen taking a walk near Mount Royal Park and then grabbing a bite to eat at Montreal’s upscale Le Villon restaurant.
A few days later, Trudeau was spotted watching Perry take to the stage at the “Life Times” tour stop at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
A source told People in August that Perry and Trudeau had an “instant connection.”
“They are interested in each other, but it will take some time to see how this situation pans out,” the source said.
“She’s traveling the world and he’s figuring out his life now that he’s no longer Prime Minister of Canada. There’s an attraction. They have a lot in common.”
Earlier this month, the “Dark Horse” songstress and the former congressman Papineau got hot and heavy as they spent time together on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
Photos obtained by Page Six show the couple enjoying a passionate kiss, with Trudeau at one point cradling Perry’s butt as they embraced on the upper deck.
The mother of a romance appears shortly after her breakup with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
Over the summer, Perry and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 48, confirmed in a joint statement that they had split after 10 years together.
The former couple have a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, who was born in August 2020.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Trudeau and his estranged wife Sophie announced that they will be separating in 2023.
They have three children, Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrian, 11.
