Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are making plans for the holiday season, a source told People magazine on Nov. 20. The source added that Perry is also “looking forward” to finishing his tour after a “whirlwind” year. Perry, who split from Orlando Bloom earlier this year, first sparked romance rumors with Trudeau when she was spotted in a park in July.
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s summer bond seems to be getting stronger as the holiday season approaches.
Rumors of a relationship first surfaced in July when the “Vendaze” singer and former Canadian prime minister were spotted hanging out in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park. According to People magazine, the couple are currently working towards another milestone in their relationship as they look ahead to the Christmas season.
On November 20, a source close to Perry told the outlet that the two are “planning a vacation.” It will be the first time the two spend time together.
The source added that Perry is “looking forward to” finishing the Lifetimes tour, adding, “Without exaggeration, this has been a turbulent year for her. She hasn’t even had time to seriously think about her life after the tour.”
After splitting from Orlando Bloom earlier this year, the pop star has been balancing her busy work schedule with raising her five-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, who she lives with. “She is currently a single mother, and a lot of that will come into focus next year,” the source said.
The source told People on Nov. 19 that Perry is “having a lot of fun” with Trudeau, adding: “That’s exactly what she needs right now.”
Their romance seemed to heat up even more when they were spotted kissing on a yacht in a photo published by the Daily Mail in early October. Later that month, a Canadian political source told People magazine, “The relationship is already pretty serious and is definitely moving in that direction. They are very much a couple and are seeing each other as often as possible.”
