Kathy Griffin wasn’t happy that her nemesis Andy Cohen revealed her private email exchanges during BravoCon 2025.
Earlier this month, Cohen told the crowd at the Bravo fan convention in Las Vegas that he and Griffin “got in touch via email the other day,” adding that he “never say never” about the possibility of them reconciling after their years-long feud.
The 65-year-old comedian was clearly shocked to receive the email and hear the TV personality mention it in public.
“Andy Cohen was my boss at Bravo. He was a difficult boss, in my opinion,” Griffin said during a stand-up show in Los Angeles on Saturday, according to Just Jared.
“I really tried to do a good job at Bravo and I had a great time there. I kind of helped build the channel,” the “My Life Is on the D-List” star added. (Her reality show aired on Bravo from 2005 to 2010.)
Griffin went on to say that “last week out of the blue,” she “received an email from Andy Cohen for the first time in eight years.”
She said the email, which arrived around 10 p.m., “felt kind of nice,” and theorized that he “reviewed it with his lawyer” knowing he would likely “read it on stage.”
Griffin told the audience that Cohen, 57, was “polite” but “didn’t really apologize.” Instead, he allegedly hit her and said things like, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
The actress said she “replyed very quickly” and was “kind of emotional,” but did not say what she replied.
However, she explained to those in attendance: “I thought, ‘I don’t need to be in any more beefs. I’ve been in so many beefs with so many people.'”
Griffin not only acknowledged that Cohen is a “powerful man,” but also confessed, “I wanted to go back to Bravo. It was a fun place to work and a great place to do specials and things like that.”
But when Griffin heard Cohen bring up the story of their email exchange at BravoCon, Griffin thought to himself, “Wait a minute, you’re the first person in eight years to email me after you smeared me, stole my job (co-hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve special) and fired me from Bravo, and it’s okay.”
(Griffin’s career and reputation took a huge hit after she was photographed holding President Trump’s fake severed head.)
Griffin said she “didn’t want to pick a fight” with Cohen, but lamented that his disclosure of her private conversations “hurt” her “whole experience” with him as well.
But she doesn’t seem to be closing the door on a possible reconciliation with network executives, teasing, “You never know what’s going to happen.”
In fact, when asked directly if he was planning on reconciling with Cohen, Griffin replied, “Let’s go with ‘maybe.'”
Representatives for Mr. Cohen did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
