Katharine McPhee of “Smash” and Henry Thomas of “ET” are set to star in the upcoming kidnapping feature “Three in the Woods.”
Directed by Joshua Caldwell (Mending the Line), the film follows a grieving couple who kidnap a man they believe is responsible for their teenage daughter’s death in order to exact revenge. However, after dragging him into the woods, they find their resolve tested and the couple quickly begins to unravel.
The cast includes Jim Gaffigan (The Jim Gaffigan Show), Morgan Saylor (Homeland), and Forest Webber (Black Rabbit). Nick Scandura wrote the script for the film, which just finished showing in Georgia.
“‘Three in the Woods’ is a story about grief, moral conviction, and the consequences of the choices we make when the world feels unrecognizable,” Caldwell said. “I’m thrilled to be working with this incredible cast to bring this tense and emotional journey to the screen.”
