Kate Middleton has returned to the tiara for Royals hosts President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for a state banquet in Windsor Castle.
The 43-year-old Princess of Wales joined the British royal family at a state banquet on September 17th, honoring the US President and First Lady during her state visit to the UK.
The first look of Kate’s evening exterior was a photo shared on the couple’s social media page. “We’re ready for the state banquet,” they credited photographer Matt Porteus, captioning the image.
The Prince and Princess of Wales posed together in white tie dresses, while Kate sports a couture gown from British designer Philipparepley and features a full-length hand mirrored gold chantilly lace evening coat over a silk crepe gown.
She topped her look with a knot tiara from Queen Mary’s love interest, a royal headpiece.
Princess Kate wore four different tiaras, including state banquets, diplomatic receptions and royal weddings.
To perfect the view of the state’s banquet, Princess Kate wore earrings belonging to the late Queen Elizabeth. She also played sports with Charles III’s Royal Order and Elizabeth II’s Royal Order and the grand cross of the Royal Victorian Order Star and Sash.

Kate’s first tiara wear came in 2011 when she married Prince William.
Most recently, the Princess of Wales sported the knotty tiara of Queen Mary’s lover in July for a visit to the state of France’s President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Bridget Macron. The opportunity marked Kate’s first tiara since 2023. She announced in January that she was in remission.
