Kate Gosselin revealed the “life-changing” injuries that caused her recent hospitalization and how her puppy caused it.
“Meka… I ran forward to Fullpede and I got a broken tibial plateau,” the former reality star, 50, explained Tuesday via Tiktok.
According to Physio-pedia.com, this affects “areas that carry important loads of the human body.”
The “John and Kate Plus 8” alum pointed out that she had “surgery in which (her) legs had a plate and pin.”
Gosselin continued to share the “opening line” from the doctor “at 5am that morning.”
“It’s one of those life-changing events,” he told her.
Gosselin initially enveloped the exact nature of the injury, demanding prayers from fans on Tuesday.
“Tonight and tomorrow 🙏” she showed an IV on her arm and captioned the photo with an oxygen monitor cut out on her finger.
“I’m fine, but I’m scared and I’ll thank you for your prayers!” The alum of “Kate Plus Date” continued. “Thank you guys, everyone.”
She added to the caption that “emergency doesn’t care about schedules,” and promised “story time” when she felt that.
After providing details that same day, Gosselin cried out to the “ice machine” she was using to provide continuous cold therapy with her feet.
But she said, “My legs really hurt. I have to say something. I can’t ignore it.”
The former TLC personality revealed that she was on “five painkillers” and labeled the procedure as “the top three most painful” surgery.
Gosselin has been very active in Tiktok over the past few months, sharing honest confessions about her finances and giving us a rare glimpse of her children.
Most recently she cried out for bringing coffee to her boyfriend Steve Need, but she didn’t show his face.
Page 6 reported last week that Gosselin and her former bodyguard were dating.
Her ex-husband, John Gosselin, has opposed the news via Instagram at that point since “no one believed him” when he previously denounced the duo in the incident.
“I think I was right,” he insisted. “Perhaps people will hear now when I speak!!”
One of eight children, Son Collin went to the same social media platform and demanded a mother whom he was estranged from.
