Kate Cassidy recalls her late boyfriend, Liam Payne, with a meaningful tattoo.
The 26-year-old influencer shared a video on Instagram where he himself got some new piercings and tattoos. Cassidy chose a sincere tribute to the One Direction Singer, who passed away on October 31, 2024, having obtained the same ink as him.
Cassidy chose a small wilted rose located behind her right hand under her thumb. It has the same design as the one that Paine held on the left side of his neck. Cassidy captioned the video “🥀” which resembles both tattoos.
On Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, Payne was fatally injured when she defeated multiple stories from her balcony at the Casa Sur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His official cause of death was dominated by “polytrauma,” or multiple injuries to multiple organs.
This is not the first time Cassidy has praised Payne with a tattoo. Two months after his death, the influencer shared a photo of her right indicator and Angel Wings matching engraved on her middle finger. In the photo, Cassidy was seen hugging her dog, Oakla.
The influencer’s angel wings symbolized the emotional message she shared two days after Payne’s death.
“My angel, Liam. You are everything. I want you to know that you loved you completely and unconditionally,” she wrote in October 2024.

Cassidy keeps Payne’s memories alive in her daily life. On August 29, the singer’s 32nd birthday, Cassidy shared a video of herself preparing a birthday cake to celebrate the occasion.
She sometimes looked visibly emotional during the video, but she finished making the cake and blew a candle and bite it.
“Happy birthday Liam, I know you still have the sweetest teeth in heaven,” Cassidy wrote in the caption. “I tried my best here, but that’s 🙂joy!
