Kate Cassidy shared a sweet homage to her late boyfriend, Liam Payne, who would have been the singer’s 32nd birthday.
Cassidy posted a video of herself making Paine’s cake on Instagram on Friday, August 29th. Influencers are visibly emotional as they wear white tops and matched pants, mixing the ingredients.
Soundtracked to Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You,” the video ends with Cassidy, 26, and is blowing a candle over a cake and chewing it.
“Happy birthday Liam, I know you still have the sweetest teeth in heaven. I did my best here, but it’s 🙂joy!
Cassidy posted an earlier homage to Paine on the platform on the same day. The video includes footage of a couple smiling, laughing and enjoying their adventure together.

Payne passed away in October at the age of 31 after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Cassidy and the former one-way star were together for two years at the time of the tragedy.

In February, Cassidy spoke with the Sun about losing Payne, whom she called her “soulmate.”
“I didn’t expect this event to happen,” she told the outlet. “It’s still not entirely felt to me that he isn’t here. He was the most humble, charming and ordinary person you’d hoped to meet, and was one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life.”

In April, she grieved the singer who died on Jay Shetty’s intentional podcast, recalling that she had never been to a funeral before Payne’s death.
“When I was trying on a funeral dress, I remember trying it out and looking into the mirror. “I was like, ‘I was supposed to try on my wedding dress.’ I wasn’t supposed to be wearing a black dress. Liam was supposed to be with me. ”
Cassidy also said he was watching Payne’s “so many signs” after his death.
“I believe in the signs. I believe in the manifestation and I know he is with me,” she added. She told the story of ordering Happy Meal from McDonald’s shortly after Payne’s death.
“That was the first sign I immediately got from Liam, and the fourth symbolizes guidance and support from your angels,” she explained. “This was a big part of our relationship. It means he had a fourth early on his finger. After he passed away, I got it… Every letter he wrote to me, he finished it with ‘Your 444’. ”
