Kat Stickler is letting fans know she’s single despite her recent flirtatious date with John Mayer.
The influencer shared an update on her relationship status via TikTok on Tuesday, posting a playful video asking her friends if they were romantically involved.
Ms. Stickler confirmed that she is single and quipped that her bob haircut is a sign that she is not seeing anyone and is still healing from a previous relationship.
“One day I suddenly cut off all my hair. Do you think I did that for no reason?” she joked.
“This was a cry for help. It was a clear sign that the relationship was deteriorating.”
The TikTok star cut her hair earlier this month, before rumors of her romance with Mayer began. She seems to have mentioned her former relationship in her latest video.
As Page Six previously reported, Deuxmoi said Mayer, 47, and Stickler, 30, were spotted at a private members-only club in New York City last Friday.
An eyewitness told the magazine that it was “definitely a first date, probably a second date,” noting that the two were “sitting on the same side of the booth” and “very close.”
The two seemed to hit it off the next night, as they had dinner together at another members-only club, the Fly Fish Club, and were photographed giddying up.
A source later told Us Weekly that the romance was “still very new” and that the musician had “sought her out.”
“He is actively pursuing her, inviting her to his place and texting her frequently,” the source claimed, noting that they don’t appear to be in a “serious relationship.”
But the newly single Stickler “thought it would be fun to date again,” the source added, adding that he was open to “seeing what happens.”
A source at the outlet said Stickler had “just broken up with someone she had been dating for a few months.”
A few days before she went out with Mayer, she went on a date with a mysterious man. She posted a lewd photo of a man from the chin down on her TikTok page on September 28th.
In the comments section of her post, fans speculated that the anonymous gentleman was the Grammy winner, writing things like, “Is this John Mayer?” and “John Mayer, you bitch. I just heard tea.”
Stickler’s last public relationship was with Bachelor Nation’s Jason Tartick. The two dated for about six months last year. She also has a daughter, MK, with ex-husband Mike Stickler.
As for Mayer, he has had a number of high-profile relationships over the years with stars such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Minka Kelly, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
