Kaley Cuoco is ready to add something new to her work-life balance.
The Big Bang Theory alum, 39, tells PEOPLE that she and her fiancé, fellow actor Tom Pelphrey, “would love to find a future project” to work on together.
“We’re actually actively looking. It has to be the right one,” she said on Oh Norman! Adoption event with Amanda Foundation on Friday, November 7th in Los Angeles. “It has to be something special, 100%. There’s no one I’d rather work with than Tom.”
She added, “Actually, I’m jealous of everyone who gets to work with him because he’s the best.”

Pelfrey, the 43-year-old task star who shares 2-year-old daughter Matilda with Cuoco, previously told PEOPLE in September that the two were “interested” in teaming up, but “it has to be the right thing.”
He also noted that his partner “tends to live more comedically” and joked that “people won’t let me come within 10 feet of a comedy scene.”
As for what Cuoco thinks about her reputation, she told PEOPLE: “He’s worried that he wants me to do something like a comedy. I said, ‘Can’t we find something in between? How about a dark[comedy]?'” He said, “Okay, yeah, that would work.” And he doesn’t realize it’s so funny. ”
Pelfrey previously said he and Cuoco agree that while they “do the same thing,” it “feels like we’re doing different jobs.”
“The approaches are so different that it feels like we’re talking about two different things,” Pelfrey told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview in 2010.
“Working out how these different things can be combined and what are the appropriate means to do that… We’re definitely interested in that, but so far we haven’t found anything that feels right,” he added.

The couple got engaged in August 2024, more than a year after welcoming their first child, daughter Matilda. When asked in September about her current life, Pelfrey had one word that came to mind: “Heaven.”
“There are challenges, but if you had told me 15 years ago that I would be able to be with the love of my life, have the most perfect baby and do whatever I want, it would have been crazy,” he said. “You’re living your dream, and I’m very conscious of that.”
