Kaitlyn Bristow says he still struggles with injuries from his dance with the stars at Pro Artem Chigvintsev, but said being the 2020 season champion was “worthy of an injury.”
“I’m still suffering from cracked ribs in a few years,” the 40-year-old bachelor’s degree told Tori’s spelling when she appeared on the September 10 podcast, Missing.
Voted for the Dancing with the Stars season, Spell said, “I wish I had known before, but I got some hints on what to do.”
Bristow said, “I would have just said myself not injured. It was just – it was my main focus, always stopping getting injured.”

She said it was “worthy of an injury,” but Bristow shared it along with cracking her rib, she pulled the muscle under her rib. She then added, “My tendonitis will burn with every time I wear my heels now.”
But the prolonged pain didn’t discourage her from the stint on the way home of the show, she said: “I’ll do it again.”
Spell said he didn’t know about the possibility of injuries before he joined the show.
“These are things you don’t say when you’re saying, ‘You need to sign on.’ And you can train as much as you want. You can train as much as you like.
Bristow went on to share that she confronted Hannah Brown, the friend that the show challenged your body last year in 2019. “I was like, ‘Why didn’t you prepare me?’ And she said, ‘I don’t think people should prepare them.’ ”

Brown sent Bristowe “a foot massage bath that sucks on your feet.”
Spell shared that she was hurt even in her limited time on the show. “I was voted first and I was already pulling my shoulder out,” Spell said. “No one knew.”
