He’s not here for her prayers.
Justin Bieber hit out at his mother weeks after she prayed for his “healing” in a social media post.
On September 24th, Patti Mallette wrote on Instagram, “Justin, we are rooting for you and praying for you always.”
“Justin, I declare to you freedom, strength, clarity and healing,” she continued in the emotional post, which included a photo of Justin rocking a T-shirt that read “Pray for me.” “Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, pain, be broken in the name of Jesus.”
However, the Canadian singer didn’t seem to appreciate her mother’s prayers when she left a rather cheeky comment on Tuesday’s post.
The 31-year-old, who is vocal about her faith, said, “The only thing I want healed is my pinky toe that curled up playing table tennis.” Many fans laughed at this comment.
At the time of the author’s post, “Nowhere but Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom,” Bieber had just announced his return to the Coachella stage by filming a black-and-white video on the festival grounds.
He captioned the post, “See you in April.”
But he also shared several other posts asking ChatGPT to tell “the truth about how human endeavors are harming humanity.”
The “Daisies” singer captioned the conversation, adding, “Jesus teaches us that our efforts are only a response. To the life and forgiveness given. Jesus is the prize. And because of the grace we have received, growth will be what you want it to be.”
Last year, Bieber sparked concern from fans with his bizarre behavior in public, including riding a Segway in his underwear and openly using marijuana.
He also sparked rumors of marriage with his wife Hailey Bieber, which he confirmed on his album Swag.
The pair have since put up a united front on social media after the businessman told critics in an interview with Vogue in May to “move on” and “calm down” over the rumors.
The two started dating in 2015, but broke up a month later. However, the two got back together in 2018 and got engaged in July of the same year.
The couple wed in a New York City courthouse ceremony in September 2018, renewing their vows six years later.
During the update, the couple also announced that they are expecting their first child, Jack Bruce, in August 2024.
