Justin Baldoni’s father, Sam Baldoni, has penned a special birthday message to mark the director’s 42nd birthday after “a year full of turmoil and injustice.”
“Happy Birthday Justin Luis Baldoni!” the patriarch posted on Instagram on Saturday, a throwback photo of himself, his wife Sharon, and Justin as a baby.
“As a new dad, I had no idea what to expect when Justin was born,” Sam added. “His birth (our first) was not easy. Sharon spent over 34 hours in labor and we ended up having a C-section.”
Sam recalled holding Justin for the first time and putting “his little face against his mother’s cheek.”
“It was a spiritual, very exhilarating, almost divine experience,” he continued. “This little boy has filled our home with so much joy for so many years now, and to this day, his presence lights up not only our lives, but the lives of everyone around him.”
The film producer said he is “so proud” of “the man (Justin) who has become and who is constantly learning about life, love, family, friendship, and how to show up for the people that matter most.”
Sam also admitted that he is “envious” of Justin’s “dedication to his family and his love and admiration for his truly perfect partner, Emily Baldoni.” Baldoni married in 2013 and has two children.
“Son, in a year filled with chaos and injustice, you have held fast to your faith, knowing that truth and justice will prevail! Happy Birthday, son, I love you with all my heart and soul,” Sam concluded.
Justin has been at the forefront of legal troubles with his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively since the New York Times accused him of sexual harassment and attempts to damage his reputation in a scathing complaint first revealed in December 2024.
Later that month, the 38-year-old “Gossip Girl” alum officially filed a lawsuit against the actor.
Ms. Baldoni denies the charges and has filed a $400 million countersuit against her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
The “Five Feet Apart” director’s suit was later dismissed by a judge.
Baldoni and Lively’s trial is scheduled to begin in May.
Several celebrities have been embroiled in legal battles, including Taylor Swift, Ben Affleck, and Johnny Depp.
In newly released court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Bad Blood” singer, 36, called Baldoni a “bitch” with a “little violin” via text prior to the publication of the NYT article in December 2024.
