Julie Chrisley has a poignant response to anyone who questioned whether her husband, Todd Chrisley, is gay.
The reality star addressed rumors surrounding her husband’s sexuality in an episode of her family’s new reality show, “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality,” on Tuesday.
“At the end of the day, OK. You can think of him anything because he knows who he is,” said Julie, 52.
Todd has faced speculation about his sexuality for many years, claiming that his former business associate, Mark Braddock, testified at the Chrisleys federal fraud trial in May 2022, claiming he had something to do with a “Chrisley Knows Best” alumni.
Todd, 56, continued to deny Braddock’s allegations in Tuesday’s episode of Life Series.
“It’s important to understand that the scandal is selling well in our position,” he explained, but Braddock argues he is the “only” and “only” filed before.
Todd previously closed rumors that he was gay. Last month, he spoke head-on to Braddock’s claims while appearing again on Kandi Burruss’ Speak On It podcast.
“Let’s be very clear. If I had keen him once, he would have come back for a few seconds,” he insisted.
“He said it was a one-off, I think it was an experiment,” Todd continued. “You’re not experimenting with s-t! You know what you’re doing. You don’t need to experiment with giving your head. If you want to give your head, give your head.”
Todd also denied the allegations in an episode of the “Chrisley Confessions” podcast in January 2023, saying that if he has an affair with a man, it will be with someone much more handsome than Braddock.
“What humiliated me the most is that in the last 54 years, when I’m ultimately accused of being with a man, I’m going to be someone who looks like Mark Braddock,” he declared.
“That’s the most insulting thing. To say he couldn’t pull anything more… it’s better for Todd Chrisley to have,” concluded.
Braddock’s allegations show that he and Todd were close for about a year in the early 2000s, and after their events ended, they continued their friendship until 2012.
Meanwhile, Braddock has worked for a real estate entrepreneur foreclosure management company, and he testified that they began receiving anonymous texts threatening to expose their alleged relationships.
Braddock then claimed he gave Todd $38,000 from his horrifying bank account.
Both Todd and Julie were ultimately found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion in June 2022, serving part of their respective long-standing prison terms until President Donald Trump banned them in May.
Todd and Julie have been married since 1996 and share three children. son Chase (29) and 19-year-old Grayson and daughter Savannah (28). Todd has two children, his ex-wife Teresa Terry.
In 2016, the couple hired their granddaughter, Chloe. 12. While Kyle struggled with substance abuse, they legally recruited Kyle’s biological daughter, Chloe.
