Actress Julia Roberts and cinematographer Danny Moder have been together for more than 20 years, having met on the set of The Mexican in 2000. The couple later had three children and made numerous films together.

The two met in the early 2000s when Roberts was starring in The Mexican and Moder was working as a cameraman. The cinematographer is married to famed make-up artist Bella Steinberg, and Roberts was in a relationship with Benjamin Bratt. His four-year relationship with Bratt ended in June 2001, and Moder and his wife also separated, and their divorce was finalized in 2002.
“He sorted everything out about himself and moved away from me,” the actress told Oprah. “And I moved away from him and sorted out my life. I think that’s the only reason we were able to finally fall in love with each other and be together.”

The couple married on July 4, 2002, at Roberts’ ranch in Taos, New Mexico, among a small group of family and friends who were surprised to find that they had not just attended a typical Fourth of July party.

The couple confirmed they were pregnant in a statement to People magazine in 2004. The couple had twins. Roberts later spoke about how she headed to Italy while pregnant for her role in Ocean’s Twelve.
