Neighbors know her name.

Judge Tamra revealed that one of Wendy Osefo’s neighbors sent the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star a DM about the professor’s claims that her home had been burglarized.

“Her neighbor slid into my DMs,” Ms. Judge shared Tuesday on her and Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast, “Two Ts In A Pod.”

“[She said]basically there was a notice on everyone’s front door or in their mailbox that there had been a robbery at Wendy and Eddie[Osefo’s]house. And instantly, the whole neighborhood was like, ‘This is insurance fraud,'” the reality star claimed.

The judge said a neighbor told her that everyone in the Osephus’ neighborhood could not believe the robbery had happened.

“She said, ‘We were all saying, ‘No way,'” the judge continued.

“I don’t know if the area they’re in isn’t known for robberies, but she’s on TV, so that’s on a different level. But they all thought it was something shady,” she added.

Page Six reached out to a representative for Wendy’s for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.

Last week, the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star and her husband Eddie, both 41, were arrested and charged with numerous frauds.

Wendy has been charged with 16 charges including insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and making false statements to a police officer.

Eddie, on the other hand, is facing 18 charges, including nine felony counts of fraud with false or misleading information over $300, eight misdemeanor counts of fraud with false or misleading information over $300, and a misdemeanor count of allegedly making a false statement to a police officer.

The couple, who married in 2011, claimed in April 2024 that their Maryland home was burglarized while they were vacationing in Jamaica.

The reality stars claimed that jewelry and several designer items were stolen from their home.

Eddie filed claims with two different insurance companies, and both he and his wife allegedly signed statements claiming $450,000 in property damage and $2,500 in property damage.

However, a police investigation revealed that there was no movement in the Ocefos’ home security footage while they were abroad.

Additionally, investigators claimed that Wendy was seen attending a red carpet event wearing one of the rings they claimed was stolen.

Authorities also discovered that the Osephus were “in significant debt” at the time.

A representative for the Osefos told Page Six last Friday:

“They appreciate the outpouring of concern and support from their friends, fans, and colleagues. Mr. and Mrs. Osefos look forward to their day in court with their legal team. At this time, they respectfully request privacy as they focus on their family and the upcoming legal process.”

Wendy resigned from her teaching position at Wesleyan University this fall after news of her arrest surfaced.
