Judge Judy recommends ammunition rather than an affair.

A TV producer said he was stunned when he asked the legendary TV judge to arrange marriage with a man, but the prince had a better idea.

Former “Entertainment Tonight” producer Fran Weinstein told Page Six that she met with judges numerous times during her decades-long career on major entertainment news programs. “I was as familiar with her as any waitress I meet,” Weinstein said in an exclusive interview.

Weinstein said he once interviewed her at his home in Connecticut on a weekend at the “heyday of his fame.”

“The cameras stopped rolling. We were walking in the woods…[I said]’Judy, don’t you know anyone who can fix me?'” Weinstein recalled.

Judy, who divorced Jerry Sheindlin in 1990 and remarried a year later, said, “I said, ‘Franny, you don’t need a man. I’ll show you what you need.'” Weinstein said.

Mr. Weinstein said this was what the diminutive pair were thinking as they returned to their home. “Please, don’t turn this into some weird sex toy.”

Judy climbed a step stool and reached into a safe-like “medieval container the size of a shoebox.”

(She) dropped it and pulled out a .32 caliber pistol! ” Weinstein said. “Then she said, ‘Franny, Jerry was gone last night. I put this under my pillow and slept like a baby.’

Judge Judy told us: “I don’t remember anything about the incident that Fran Weinstein mentioned. But if I did remember it, I’d like to take credit for it – that would be great!

Judy Weinstein’s story is included in her memoir, Tortured Soles: High Heels, Low Expectations, and the Hollywood Gossip Mill, which will be published April 28.

The book is chock-full of red carpet and behind-the-scenes celebrity gossip stories, like when Anne Heche allegedly stole her tapes and when Kelly Ripa stopped talking to her.

He also reveals his favorite interviews.

“Robin Williams was amazing. George Clooney is a guy who gets it. Jamie Lee Curtis is the best on the planet,” she said.

What is her least favorite interview? Harvey Keitel. “He grabbed the microphone and walked out the door and said, ‘I don’t want to talk,'” she revealed.

Weinstein even opened up about how ET almost fired her after a 1999 fire at the Culkin family’s New York apartment killed four of their neighbors. However, the only thing he talked about was “I was held captive by (‘Gunsmoke’ actor) Jean-Michael Vincent for three days,” he said.

“[ET]assigned him to me… because he was a heavy drinker and they wanted me to babysit him to make sure he came to the interview. They wanted me to stay at his hotel. For three days, he kept screaming at me, ‘I want a white whiskey!'” I didn’t know what it was. At the end of the day, it’s awful, like homemade stuff,” she said.

Weinstein retired from show business in 2013 and has since moved to his homes on St. Croix and upstate New York. “I’m so happy to say that I went from doing all of this interview in 6-inch designer heels to now exclusively wearing flip-flops!” she concluded.
