Jude Law had a special supporter on his side at the Venice International Film Festival.
His new film, The Wizard of the Kremlin, held its world premiere on Sunday, August 31, so the 52-year-old actor brought his wife, Philippacone, on a rare public date night.
The pair walked the red carpet separately and had the law in tuxedos with clear white shirts and blazers. Business psychologist Cone chose a long-sleeved silver-pole gown with keyhole cutouts and a black stiletto and an adjustable clutch.
The couple didn’t pose together, but they saw them chatting before the appearance of their respective red carpets and also showed some PDAs within the AMFAR profit gala. The 2025 event, hosted by Colman Domingo, raised over $3.4 million for research and awareness on HIV/AIDS.
Law and Korn were captured sitting at the inside table of the gala, and the actor at one point leaned against his wife with a smile to tell her something, sweetly loving her back.

Law and Coan reportedly met through mutual friends and were first linked in 2015. They tied the knot in London in 2019, welcoming their first child in 2020 and their second child in 2023.
The close actor preferred to keep his relationship with his wife private, telling GQ in November 2024 that he “enjoys how we feel, our relationships with friends, our relationships with family and our very healthy relationships of having a great perspective.”
“I think middle-aged people should start reflecting,” he added. “What patterns did I create? What relationships do I have? Why am I having them like that? What do I think about them?”
Besides their two children with cones, the law also has son Rafferty (28) and son Rudy (24) and son Rudy (22) who also have ex-wife Sadifrost. 15-year-old daughter Sofia, former Samantha Burke and daughter Ada, 10-year-old and former Catherine Harding.

The law plays Russian President Vladimir Putin, the wizard of the upcoming political thriller, the Kremlin, from director Olivier Assay. The 70-year-old Law and Assay appeared at Sunday’s film press conference along with actors’ co-stars Paul Dano, Alicia Vikander, Tom Sturridge and Jeffrey Wright.
The film is based on a 2023 book of the same name by Giuliano da Empori and is led by 41-year-old Dano. The 41-year-old is led as Vadim Baranov, a television producer who turned artist to direct “promotion” while working in “the power of Russia” while overseeing the entire society as lies and propaganda.
“Only his love for the magnetic and free Xenia can keep him away from this dangerous game,” the outlet added.
During a Venice press conference, the law didn’t scare him to play, saying, “I wish I wasn’t naive, but I wasn’t afraid of the impact. In the hands of Olivier and the scriptwriter, I was confident that this story would be told intellectually and with nuance and consideration.”
“We didn’t seek controversy because of the controversy,” the actor added. “It’s a broader story character. We weren’t trying to define anything about anyone.”
The Venice International Film Festival will be held until Saturday, September 6th. The official release date for the Kremlin Wizard has not yet been announced.
