Jose Díaz Balart will take on a new role at the Spanish-language network Telemundo, co-hosting a new streaming show called “Ahora 360” on the FAST channel “Noticias Telemundo Ahora” in early 2026 and hosting NBC News’ “Dateline” in Spanish on Telemundo.
Díaz-Balart is the only anchor to host a national news program in both Spanish and English, and will continue to anchor the Saturday broadcasts of NBC Nightly News.
Co-hosted by Aranxa Loyzaga, Ahora 360 will feature social, political and cultural topics, along with interviews with newsmakers, thought leaders and celebrities. Delivered Monday through Thursday. Additional “Noticias Telemundo AHORA” programs will be announced in the coming months. The Spanish “Dateline” begins in January.
Díaz-Balart began his journalism career in 1983 and has interviewed every U.S. president since Ronald Reagan. In addition to his Telemundo duties, he also anchors a show on MSNBC.
Loyzaga, who anchors Noticias Telemundo’s late-night news show, will expand his role to include “Ahora 360.” She regularly co-anchors special prime-time news coverage and has conducted interviews with world leaders including former President Barack Obama and former U.S. President George W. Bush. She joined Telemundo in 2021.
FAST Channel is distributed through Roku, YouTube, Samsung TV Plus, Fire TV, Peacock, NoticiasTelemundo.com, and the Noticias Telemundo app. Featuring original news reporting from anchors Julio Baqueiro, Nicole Suarez, Joanna Suarez, Vanessa Hauck, Damia Bommatti, Claudia de la Fuente and Loysaga.
