“The Last of Us” has discovered a new manny.
Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Spider-Man: No Way Home) has joined the third season of the HBO drama, replacing Danny Ramirez, who was forced to make a cast change due to scheduling conflicts.
Clea Duvall (Argo, But I’m a Cheerleader) also joins The Last of Us as Seraphite, a member of a hostile cult.
“The Last of Us” is based on the popular post-apocalyptic video game of the same name. The series is co-created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann (co-creator of the game). The two served as co-showrunners for the first two seasons of the HBO series, but with Druckmann’s departure, Mazin will be solely at the helm for the upcoming third season.
The season 3 cast stars Bella Ramsey as Ellie and Kaitlyn Deaver as Abby, and is joined by Isabella Merced (Dina), Gabriel Luna (Tommy), Young Maginot (Jesse), Tati Gabriel (Nora), Ariela Bearer (Mel), Spencer Lord (Owen), and Jeffrey Wright (Isaac).
“The Last of Us” premiered in January 2023 and was renewed for season 3 before the release of season 2 in 2025. The show is co-produced by HBO and Sony Pictures Television. Serving as executive producers alongside Mazin and Druckmann are Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Asad Kizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells. With screenwriter and co-executive producer Harry Gross. Also produced by PlayStation Productions, Word Games, Mighty Mint and Naughty Dog.
Lendeborg Jr. is repped by Verve, Mosaic, Hansen, Jacobson and Teller. DuVall is represented by UTA.
