This is the real thing. This is “Camprock 3”
The third film in his beloved Disney Channel series, “Camp Rock,” enters production in Vancouver, with the Jonas Brothers ready to reprise their roles. They also served as executive producers alongside Demi Lovato and starred with them in the original film. The film will air on the Disney Channel and stream on Disney+.
According to the official logline for “Camp Rock 3,” “Connect 3 loses its opening act for a massive reunion tour and discovers the next big thing (Hudson Stone), cello genius Rosie (Rumi Pollack), his own Beatcliffe (Kacetlotter), Koreo Queen Curry (Brooklyn Pitts) drummer, intimidating influencer Madison (Abajan), Camp Bad Boy Fletch (Malachiburton).
The cast also includes Maria Canals Barrera, who returns as the mother of Mitchie’s mother (Lovato), but Shelley Cora plays the new character, Lark.
Joe Jonas, who plays Shane Gray, posted a video from the set of the new film on Wednesday. As we hear members of the crew work in the background, he walks through the camp rock while wearing his leather jacket and sunglasses, saying, “I’m Shane Grey, to scream out loud.” “We welcome Shane Gray, close enough,” he wrote in the caption. In another clip posted by the official Jonas Brothers account, the caption “Good Morning Campers,” Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas Lip Sync synced to the full scene. (Nick and Kevin play Nate and Jason Gray, respectively).
On 2008’s “Camp Rock,” Jonas Brothers played Connect 3. The brothers returned to music camp and began their careers to produce good coverage of Shane. There he meets and becomes friends with Mitchie. Mitchie is a girl from a low-income family who takes part in camp on a scholarship who struggles to fit a wealthy camper. “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” premiered in 2010. In the sequel, Camp Rock risks being closed after the opening of competing camps. Both films were one of the top 10 most viewed Disney Channel original films of all time, and were the best cable films among viewers aged 2-17.
“Camp Rock 3” is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye (“Slumber Party”) in a choreography by Jamal Sims. TV produced by Disney brands. Along with Jonas Brothers and Lovato, executive producers include Tim Feder, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman and Gary Marsh.
