Jonah Hill once again showed off his slimmer physique on the set of his latest movie.
The barely recognizable “Moneyball” actor was photographed Friday on the set of the movie “Cut Off” in Los Angeles, wearing magenta coveralls and rocking a tousled blonde wig and full beard as he walked near a trailer.
Also wearing black work shoes and wire-rimmed glasses, the actor appeared to be wearing earphones while casually conversing on his smartphone.
Hill, 41, was previously spotted on the set of the film looking stunningly unusual in a ’70s-inspired ensemble. The actor wore a skintight leopard-print mock turtleneck paired with low-rise skinny jeans that looked like fringed chaps.
He accessorized his 1970s-inspired look with retro glasses and a heavy chain bracelet. A black belt around Hill’s waist highlighted his dramatic weight loss transformation.
Co-star Kristen Wiig, 52, also appeared on set wearing an eclectic outfit: red lace leggings and a lace bra over a purple lace shirt. Hill is directing the film and also wrote the screenplay.
The “Wolf of Wall Street” actor lost 40 pounds in 2011 through diet and the guidance of a nutritionist. He also took credit for doing push-ups.
“I started doing it when I was 10 years old, and I just worked my way up, and now I’m doing 100 times a day,” Hill said on his 2011 appearance on “Kid Kraddick in the Morning,” according to People.
By 2014, he had gained weight again, and sources at the time explained that he was battling bulimia.
“Jonah is heavier than ever and has developed bulimia,” a Hill source said. “He’s in a bad situation and that only makes the cycle worse.”
In February 2021, the actor explained how he learned to “accept myself” in a since-deleted social media post that addressed body image and fluctuating weight. “I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool, even in front of family and friends, until I was in my mid-30s,” he writes.
“So the idea that the media is stalking me and trying to play me while I’m surfing the internet and printing pictures like this and that they can’t phase me anymore is stupid. I’m 37 years old and I’m finally able to love and accept myself.”
