Jon Bon Jovi is a grandfather of two!
The 63-year-old rocker’s son Jesse Bongiovi and his wife Jesse Wright welcomed their first child, daughter Blair Lucy, and shared the exciting news on Instagram on Monday, November 10th. The sweet snap shows Jesse’s daughter clutching his finger while wearing a pink, blue and white striped beanie.
“Blair Lucy Bongiovi. Our sweet baby girl has arrived. We couldn’t be happier. Welcome to the world, baby Blair Bear,” Jesse and his wife wrote in the caption of their joint post.
Jesse and his wife Jesse were married on May 7, 2024 in Las Vegas. Their wedding took place at the same chapel where Jesse’s parents, Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi, eloped in 1989.
The two first connected in 2018 on the deck of a surf lodge in Montauk, New York. It’s also where Bon Jovi popped the question two years ago.
Bon Jovi recently told BBC’s The One Show that he plans to become a grandfather twice.
“It’s a new chapter in my life,” he said. “So the next generation comes along and all of a sudden I have a granddaughter, and next week I have another granddaughter.”
He also shared his best advice as a father, saying to simply “let them be themselves.”
The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer recently became a grandfather for the first time when he announced that his wife Dorothea’s son Jake Bongiovi and daughter-in-law Millie Bobby Brown became parents on August 21st.
The Stranger Things actress, 21, and her husband, 23, confirmed in an Instagram post that they have adopted a baby girl and are excited about their new adventure.
“This summer we welcomed a beautiful baby girl through adoption. We are so excited to embark on this next chapter of parenting in both peace and privacy,” the two wrote in a joint post. They concluded, “And then there were three.”

In addition to sons Jesse and Jake, Bon Jovi and Dorothea share daughter Stephanie, 32, and son Romeo, 21.
After welcoming his first grandchild, Bon Jovi revealed the name of his upcoming grandpa, which has a nice connection to his stepdaughter’s TV show. The rock star spoke to Savannah Guthrie in a new interview with Today and said she instantly fell in love with the little one.
“You fall in love with it right away,” Bon Jovi said. “When I met Jake and Millie’s daughter, I knew it right away. I was like, ‘That’s my granddaughter.'”
“My daughter won’t be able to walk for at least 10 or 12 years, because she’ll carry me everywhere,” he said, adding that he plans to call his granddaughter “daddy.”
The “You Give Love a Bad Name” singer’s preferred grandfather’s name just so happens to be the name of a character on Brown’s TV show “Stranger Things.” “Papa” is the name of the man who watches over Eleven, played by Brown, when she is confined in the laboratory.
