The new crime drama series, “Devil in fisause: John Wayne Gacy,” has released its first full trailer.
The series on the infamous serial killer premieres on October 16th in Peacock in all eight episodes. Starring Michael Cernus (“Retirement”), Gabriel Luna (“Our Last”), James Badge Dale (“Savant”, “1923”), Michael Angarano (“Oppenheimer”), Chris Sullivan (“This is Us”) and Marine Ireland (“The Irishman”).
The series, according to official accounts, “the heartbreaking tale of Gacy’s victims and the enormous sadness and trauma that the family endured. It also highlights the systemic failure, the opportunities they missed, and the social bias that allowed his crimes to remain unnoticed for a long time.”

Jessie Abbott will be the VP of Creative Affairs at A+E Studios and will report directly to Tana Jamieson, co-head and executive vice president of Creation Affairs.
After leaving Kapital Entertainment, Abbott joined A+E Studios and served as current and development VP.
During her 10-year stint at the entertainment company, she directed shows such as “Black Cake” (Hulu), “Shinging Vale” (Starz), “Women of the Movement” (ABC), “Pivoting” (Fox) (ABC), “The Unicorn” (CBS), and “Tell Me A Story” (CBS All Access).
Before becoming VP of Kapital Entertainment, she began her career as an assistant in Gersh’s television literature department.
“Jesse’s track record of defending a distinctive voice and providing compelling, high-quality programming speaks in itself,” said Tana Jamieson, EVP, A+E Studios, Creative Affairs at A+E Studios. “Combined with her deep industry relationships, her ability to nurture projects from early on to premiere is a very valuable asset for the growing Slate. Camryn Manheim, Tyler Posey, Jamie Chung, Noah Reid and Sara Canning have been announced as guest stars for season 2 of “Small In a Small Town,” which premieres on Fox on September 23rd.
Mannheim plays Jocelyn Tight, who is said to be the working-class patriarch who “lives life in the shadow of a family feud and has come to Gibson for a “Romeo-Juliet-style wedding.” Posey plays the role of Ryan, and is said to be “a former party boy who has become an overall health enthusiast.” Chong plays Rani Su, “a career-driven deputy prosecutor’s attorney general approaching Alberg in an interesting case.” Canning plays Mackenzie Rankin, “the woman organising and planning a memorial gathering for the death of her sister.” Reid reprises his role as Tommy Cummins, as “the modest art teacher behind the bar.”
“Small Town Murder” follows Karl Alberg (Rosif Sutherland), who recently moved to the coastal town of the Gibsons to become the new police chief. As Alberg knows that this calm paradise has more than a share of secrets, he calls for his skills to solve the murders that continue to be washed away on the town’s shores. While solving the mystery, Alberg’s deep relationship with town librarian Cassandra Lee (Kristin Kleuk) is challenged as her career and community involvement takes her in a new direction.
Season 2 explores the town as Carl’s jurisdiction expands. He is only followed by a stalker, dealing with bodies found at a local wedding between two rebellious family members, double temptations, and pop stars who have retreated to Gibson for a quiet holiday.
