John Stamos has accused Lori Loughlin’s estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli of being a “narcissist” for being the mastermind behind the 2019 college admissions scandal.
“I’ve known her for 40 years,” he said Monday of his “Full House” co-star. “After a few years, you learn to see through people. This woman is a saint. My heart hurts for her right now.”
“I tried my best to be there for her during[the divorce]and during the college scandal. I’m not going to argue whether she had much to do with it or not. I know she didn’t have anything to do with it,” Stamos insisted on Monday’s Good Guys podcast.
“She’s going to jail for three months for this motherfucker.”
The “General Hospital” alum, 62, said he prayed that Giannulli, also 62, would get help “in whatever hole he’s trying to fill.”
“Any negativity or hardship that you’ve been through in your life has something to do with this man, you know? I mean,” Stamos said.
The actor declined to discuss Giannulli’s alleged infidelity, but Loughlin, 61, said he has “put up with a lot over the years.”
“Look, he’s a very successful guy. I’ll never talk to him again. He’s a terrible narcissist and I don’t think he’ll ever grow out of it,” Stamos claimed.
Representatives for Mr. Giannulli did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
In April 2019, the Justice Department announced that several parents, including Loughlin and Giannulli, were involved in fraud to get their students into elite universities.
The following May, the couple, whose daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26, pleaded guilty to paying $500,000 to get their children into the University of Southern California as crew members, even though they were not rowers.
Loughlin served two months in a federal prison in Dublin, California, and was released in December 2020, while her then-husband, Giannulli, completed a five-month sentence in April 2021 in Lompoc, California.
Earlier this month, a representative for the “Fuller House” actress confirmed to Page Six that she and the fashion designer had separated after nearly 28 years of marriage.
“Lori and Mossimo are currently living separately,” a rep confirmed to Us on October 2, adding that “no legal proceedings are underway.”
Page Six exclusively reported that the “90210” actress discovered “incriminating” texts and emails on her husband’s cell phone.
“Mossimo had been using Lori for years,” said Loughlin’s friend. “She had hoped that he might change once he got out of prison, but he got worse.”
Now, the mother of two wants nothing to do with Giannulli and wants to “get her life back.”
A source told People magazine that the two daughters “both love their parents and just want them to be happy.”
