Bang bang.
According to The Sun, Jessie J called ex-boyfriend Channing Tatum a “beast” in his poignant new song “Don’t Tease Me With a Good Time” from his upcoming album.
The pop star revealed the savage lyrics for ‘Threw It Away’ during a recent listening party in west London, revealing that she was singing about the actor she dated from 2018 to 2020.
“The next song is a song I wrote with Ryan Tedder in 2020,” the Grammy nominee told the audience. “Then you’ll know who I was dating.”
Jesse, 37, began singing about how a relationship became “uncomfortable” after “putting my heart on the table”.
She sings, “But oh, that karma will come someday/ ‘Cause I gave you love and you threw it away.”
Elsewhere in the song, the performer adds, “I don’t dare rewrite the story / I’m the beauty, you’re the beast.”
Representatives for Jesse and Tatum did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The former couple met in 2018, had an on-again, off-again romance, broke up the following year, and got back together in early 2020.
When the two broke up several months later, People magazine reported that their relationship was “amicable.”
After breaking up with Tatum, Jesse called the “She’s the Man” star “special” and “one of a kind” in an Instagram tribute she posted on Tatum’s 40th birthday.
Jesse married professional basketball player Chanan Coleman in 2021, and their son was born the following year.
Jessie is currently battling breast cancer, but has not revealed the name of her 3-year-old child.
As for Tatum’s post-breakup relationships, he got engaged to Zoe Kravitz in 2023, but the “Blink Twice” co-stars split the following year.
He is currently dating model Yinka Williams, and the two made their red carpet debut in September.
