It feels so good to meet again.
Jessica Simpson and her estranged husband, Eric Johnson, burned more rumors of a settlement between the two in support of the singer’s sister, Ashley Simpson on Friday night.
A video shared by TMZ showed the couple trying to lie down low while attending the opening show of Ashley’s Vegas Residency at the Voltaire Nightclub inside the Venetian hotel.
The two party between a group of friends, but it appears they are not engaged in PDAs while out. At one point, as Ashley begins to perform, they have placed some distance between themselves, and one Tiktok video reveals.
Jessica and Ashley’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, also attended the concert.
The couple sparked rumors of a settlement Friday evening when they were spotted on a plane together from Burbank, California to Vegas.
In a video filmed at the airport, the 45-year-old hitmaker (45) also took the runway, estranged husband, who went out to the runway before getting into the plane seat.
Photos taken from inside the plane showed them sitting in the same row, but in between they were kept away with open seats.
Simpson announced that she and Johnson were living “separately” after their 10-year marriage in January, adding that they were navigating “painful situations” in their relationship.
“Our kids are the first to come and we are focused on what’s best for them. We are grateful for all the love and support that our path is coming, and we are grateful for privacy when we work through this as a family,” she told people in a statement.
The singer’s announcement comes after months of speculation from fans who have noticed that Simpson has not shared a photo featuring her husband on her social media profile since 2023.
Earlier this month, Simpson hinted at why he split up in an interview with the parade, talking about choosing to “love others through their mistakes.”
At this point, the status of Simpson’s relationship with Johnson remains unknown, but the “Dude Hazard” actress declared she was a “very single woman” when she was opened about her breakup in March.
“I was in a very intuitive state and I was asking very personal questions on the home front, but I found that my world was upside down and life was very different,” she said at a concert at the Luck Reunion Music Festival in Spicewood, Texas.
