Blue Finch Films has won the worldwide sales rights to “Love,” a sci-fi horror feature starring Jessica Ross and will be making BT Meza’s directorial debut.
The film follows Ellie Carter, who has never met a man who called her husband, and does not recognize the girl calling her mother, and does not remember the life she was told. Tormented by violent seizures that reset her memory without warning, she is trapped in a cyclical nightmare and struggles to uncover the horrifying truth of her existence before forgetting it again.
Known for his lead role in “Happy Death Day,” Ross leads the cast alongside Joseph Cross (“Lincoln”) and Juliana Rain (“Scrap”). The film is written and directed by Meza. Meza is produced under a superconducting banner along with Bay Dallis, Austin Walk and JP Owlett. Christian Henderson and Christy Walker are executive producers.
“This story comes from a deep, personal place drawn from my feelings, memories, and fear, and I wanted to use sci-fi horror as a lens to explore them,” Meza said. “We are excited to partner with Blue Finch Films, and its bold, distinctive passion for film genres makes this the perfect home for this project.”

The film will be screened at several fall festivals, including the opening night selection at Screamfest and part of the Brooklyn Horror Fest. Blue Finch Films will begin international sales in the American film market next month with titles.
Blue Finch’s current international slate includes the fantasian titles “Hellcat” and “Hold the Fort” and the fantastic fest selection “Dolly”, featuring Sannale Teddy Award winner “Lesbian Space Princess.”
