Ryan Murphy Productions has released three set photos from season 13 of American Horror Story. Each shot shows Jessica Lange, wearing a blue dress and heels, peering out of an old window.
Although Lange is only visible from the back, the behind-the-scenes photo still sparked fanfare on “AHS.” Season 13 will see Lang return to American Horror Story for the first time in eight years. The “Tootsie” and “King Kong” actor is an “AHS” OG and starred as Constance Langdon in the first season.
Lang returned in the second season as Sister Jude Martin, played Fiona Goode in the third season, and Elsa Mars in the fourth season. She guest-starred in Season 8 four years later, reprising her role as Constance Langdon. It is unclear whether Lange will play Constance in the 13th installment of the horror anthology, or if she will be playing a new character.
Lange’s appearance on Season 13 of AHS caused a lot of excitement, as she had previously claimed that she was done with the series. When asked by an Irish radio station if she would return to “AHS” in 2025, Lange replied, “Oh, no, I haven’t done it in over 10 or 12 years, so no, I haven’t.”
For the 13th season, Lange will be joined by fellow AHS regulars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman. Additionally, Ariana Grande, who starred in Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s 2015 series “Scream Queens,” will reunite with her co-creators on “AHS.”
